Anglo American Thermal Coal Learnership

Minimal Learnership Conditions
The aspirant must be a South African citizen

Aspirants must retain N2/ N3 specialized qualification with applicable subjects, i.e.
bus Electrician( Science and Maths, Electro- technology/ Electrical Trade Theory or Industrial electronics)
Diesel Mechanic( Diesel Trade Theory, Mathematics, Engineering Drawing, Science)
Fitter, including machining( Science, Maths, Fitting, Engineering Drawing & Machining Trade proposition)
Rigger( Engineering Drawing, Maths, Rigger Trade Theory, Science)
The aspirant must be in possession of a validdriver?s license( K53 parochial) without having signatures
aspirants must be medically fit and be in possession of a valid Certificate of Fitness
The aspirant should have at least 1year?s experience in the underground mining terrain. This will be profitable to him or her
Aspirants should be someone who’s suitable to handle pressure, is a tone- starter, and must be innovative
Other Conditions
The aspirant should be apprehensive of the fact that they must be willing to work in shifts, and be on standby and do call- outs when needed
