Job Description:
Dis-Chem Pharmacies seeks a Cosmetic Cashier to provide exceptional customer service and support at their Verdi Centre store. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, computer literacy, and strong English language proficiency.
Responsibilities:
– Process customer transactions on the Dis-Chem operating system
– Merchandise cosmetic and beauty products effectively
– Provide excellent customer service
– Assist with merchandising duties as needed
– Manage cash flow and maintain confidentiality
– Adhere to security policies and procedures
– Keep the workstation clean and tidy
Requirements:
– Grade 12/Matric
– 6 months’ experience in cashier/till operations
– Computer literacy (MS Office)
– Sound numerical skills
– Strong English language proficiency
– Basic customer service skills
– Willingness to work retail hours
Competencies:
– Promotions, personal selling, sales targets
– Customer liaison, product knowledge
– Operating cash registers, maintaining cash drawers
– Processing sales, refunds, payments
– Strong English command (written and verbal)
