Minimum Requirements:

– Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
– Valid driver’s license

Duties and Responsibilities:

– Identify parts using catalogues and contact vendors for quotes
– Prepare parts requisitions and create GRN and GRV on Syspro
– Receive and check shipments, enter receipts, and distribute parts
– Issue replacement parts, assist mechanics, and complete job cards
– Manage oil and lubrication stock, conduct stock takes, and replenish stock
– Order and receive bulk fuel, assist depots, and capture tyre job cards

Job Description:

RCL Foods is seeking a highly energized Transport Clerk to join their team in Durban.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the workshop department, ensuring efficient management of the vehicle fleet. The role reports to the Transport Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

– Matric
– Valid Driver’s License (Code 10) with PDP
– Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
– 2 Years experience in an administrative role within a fleet maintenance/workshop environment
– Fleet Management Software experience (advantageous)
– JD Edwards experience (advantageous)

Duties and Responsibilities:

– Office Administration:
– Maintain accurate filing records for vehicle fleet
– Order department stationery
– Compile daily & monthly fuel usage reconciliations
– Activate fuel orders and generate purchase orders
– Capture fuel delivered (FMS & Freeway system)
– Verify Time Sheet Submissions
– Capture time spent by mechanics on allocated job cards
– Adhoc administrative tasks
– Fleet Maintenance:
– Daily review of vehicle schedule for maintenance & licensing
– Coordinate and capture tyre management data on Pro-fleet system
– Ensure vehicle fleet licensing is up to date and maintain accurate records
