Capitec Bank Ltd is seeking a Service Consultant to join their team in Middelburg, Eastern Cape. The ideal candidate will have a passion for client service and a drive to enhance the lives of clients.

The purpose of the role is to provide excellent client service, fulfill and exceed client needs, and support clients in banking better and living better.

The minimum requirements for the role are:

– 3-6 months of previous client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment

– Alternatively, a candidate with a relevant tertiary qualification can be considered
– Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational Qualifications
– Basic calculations and knowledge of retail/consumer service environment

The ideal candidate will have:

– More than 1 year’s client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment
– Demonstrated track record of engaging in a sales and client-facing environment
– Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar

– Certification in Finance or Banking
– Knowledge of Capitec Bank products, internal business processes and procedures, and organisational policies

The successful candidate will be required to have:

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
– A clear criminal and credit record
– Detectable/recognisable fingerprints on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
