Key Responsibilities

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Requirements:
Applicants must possess a National Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification, with successful completion of the following:
- Mathematics: Technical Mathematics or standard Mathematics
- Language Proficiency: English or Business English
- Science: Technical or Physical Science is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience:
- No prior experience is required; this program is ideal for entry-level candidates.
Skills and Competencies:
- A valid Code B driver’s license is essential.
- Applicants must successfully complete a stress and fear assessment, including:
- Working at heights
- Navigating confined spaces
- Managing exposure to fire scenarios
- Physical fitness will be assessed through a firefighter fitness evaluation.
