Job Description:
JET Education Services is seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Manager to lead the implementation of research-based projects in the education and skills development sector, with a strong focus on data and ecosystems. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing research initiatives, contributing to organizational development, driving business growth, managing staff, and ensuring effective financial management.
*Key Responsibilities:*
– *Research and Data Ecosystems:*
– Lead and contribute to research initiatives, ensuring high-quality outputs and impact
– Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the research and data ecosystem
– Identify opportunities for collaboration and growth
– *Organizational Development:*
– Contribute to the development and implementation of JET’s strategic and business plans
– Implement decisions made at the board level and ensure alignment with organizational goals
– Foster a positive and productive work environment
– *Business Development:*
– Ensure effective marketing and promotion of JET’s services and projects
– Develop and assist with proposal writing for new projects and initiatives
– Identify and pursue new business opportunities
– *Staff Management:*
– Manage and lead a team of researchers, data analysts, and project staff
– Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to staff
– Ensure effective performance management and development planning
– *Financial Management:*
– Oversee the financial management of the Research and Data Ecosystems division
– Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
– Manage project budgets and ensure effective resource allocation
*Requirements:*
– *Education:*
– Master’s or Doctorate in Education or a related field
– *Experience:*
– 10-15 years of experience in large-scale research management
– Expertise in data ecosystems and related fields
– Academic track record with peer-reviewed publications
– International research network
– Senior management experience in the development sector
– *Skills:*
– Strong management and leadership skills
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
