Job Advert Summary:
Rand Water is inviting applications for a Learnership Programme in Water and Wastewater Reticulation at NQF Level 2. This is an excellent opportunity for 15 individuals to gain valuable skills and experience in the water and wastewater industry. The programme aims to develop a skilled workforce that can contribute to the delivery of quality water services.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this learnership, applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria:
– Be unemployed
– Not be enrolled with any institution for a qualification nor be registered in any Learnership Programme
– Not be in possession of a completed post-matric qualification (Note: Failure to disclose post-matric qualifications will result in applicant being disqualified)
– Have a Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Physical Science (minimum of Level 3 in ALL subjects)
– Submit / attach SAQA / NLRD verification report
– Be a South African citizen and be in possession of a valid SA ID
– Be between 18 and 35 years of age (in line with the NSDSIII)

Primary Duties:
As a learner in this programme, your primary duties will include:
– Learning and applying knowledge of water and wastewater reticulation systems
– Developing skills in communication, problem-solving, and teamwork
– Working independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
– Paying attention to detail and demonstrating a logical and analytical approach to problem-solving
