Requirements:
– Grade 10/12 with 3-5 years’ driving experience
– Valid code 10 (C) driver’s license with PDP (willing to renew at own expense)
– Knowledge of relevant legislation, MISS Act, Batho Pele Principles, and government fleet and transport policies (added advantage)
– Ability to perform routine tasks, work under pressure, and good communication and human relations skills
Duties:
– Deliver and collect linen from hospitals and clinics
– Transport food to client hospitals
– Inspect vehicle before and after trips
– Report defaults to Transport Officer
– Ensure fumigation of vehicles before and after delivery
– Adhere to health and safety policies and transport policy
– Punctuality and willingness to work shifts and overtime

– Willingness to work weekends, nightshift, and Public holidays
Duties:
– Prepare normal and therapeutic diets according to standardized recipes
– Portion meals according to ration scale and prescription
– Apply hygiene and safety measures according to HACCP rules and OHS standards
– Lift heavy Foodservice equipment
– Be responsible for allocated resources
– Relieve in all areas of the CookFreeze factory when required
– Undergo continuous training and development programs
