Job Title: CCTV Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled CCTV Operator to join our Security team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and administering the CCTV system, conducting security administration, and ensuring compliance with maritime transport security requirements. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of relevant experience, a PSIRA certification, and computer literacy.

Key Responsibilities:

– Monitor CCTV system to ensure port security
– Minimize security risk and promote TPT security
– Comply with ISPS code and maritime transport security initiatives
– Utilize resources efficiently
– Stay up-to-date with technological advancements
– Detect trespassers and stowaways
– Master system functionality and understand standing operating procedures

Requirements:

– 2 years relevant experience
– PSIRA certification
– Code 8 driver’s license
– Computer literacy
– Electronic Security Systems Operators Training
– Knowledge of security guarding philosophy, TPT business processes, and port operations
– Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Title: Chief Administrator: Lev 2: Desktop Support

Location: Cape Town, South Africa

Job Type: Permanent

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Chief Administrator to join our ICT team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, supporting, maintaining, analyzing, evaluating, and troubleshooting all IT hardware, software, and desktop-server support in the port. The ideal candidate will have a National High Diploma in ICT or equivalent, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and a driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities:

– Maintain inventory of computers and peripherals
– Negotiate with vendors and manage IT projects
– Provide support and resolve problems related to computer software and hardware
– Manage deployment of AV software and configure Teklogix wireless data terminals
– Ensure optimal response time on servers and stay up-to-date with latest software trends
– Support and maintain Camco dependent technologies and SAP clients
– Troubleshoot mobile email clients and evaluate requirements for DCT Radio and Wifi infrastructure
– Monitor and maintain pc interface to PLCs on cranes and ensure maximum availability of T/A infrastructure

Requirements:

– Grade 12
– National High Diploma in ICT or equivalent
– Min 3 years relevant experience
– Driver’s license
– Knowledge of TPT business and operations, project management, corporate governance, database management, and Office Suite
– Strong communication, report writing, problem-solving, and organizational skills
