Job Description
The Driver/Messenger will be responsible for delivering transportation services with a focus on customer satisfaction, safety, and punctuality. The role includes collecting and distributing documents between departments, handling office administrative tasks, and maintaining the assigned vehicle to corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Transportation Services: Operate various company vehicles to deliver documents, mail, and personnel to designated locations promptly and safely.
- Document Handling: Collect and deliver internal and external correspondence, including mail and packages, ensuring accurate distribution.
- Communication Delivery: Distribute memos and instructions from management to appropriate departments for effective information dissemination.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect the company vehicle, report any maintenance needs, and ensure the vehicle remains clean and presentable according to company standards.
- Staff Assistance: Transport new employees and visitors to their respective offices or facilities as directed.
- Mail Collection and Sorting: Collect mail from the post office, assist with sorting, and ensure timely delivery to relevant departments.
- Record Keeping: Maintain a daily logbook recording all deliveries and collections for proper documentation.
- Filing and Administrative Support: Assist in office administrative tasks such as filing documents and organizing records.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive documents with care, ensuring confidentiality and security.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the department head.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English communication.
- License: Possession of a valid Qatar driving license.
