Similar to the Cleaner roles, an ABET qualification is the minimum educational requirement for Groundsman applicants. A key prerequisite for these positions is a high level of physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor outdoors. Applicants should be familiar with the use of basic gardening tools and equipment.

The duties of a Groundsman are diverse and focus on the external maintenance of the properties. Key responsibilities include regular watering and mowing of lawns, trimming trees to ensure proper growth and safety, applying fertilizer, and tidying up natural waste such as fallen leaves and branches. These individuals will also be responsible for removing litter and maintaining a generally clean and orderly yard, along with any other related duties assigned.
