DUTIES:
Responsible for receiving and making calls and emails alike.
Helping customers face to face (walk in), telephonically and via email.
Processing customer orders and back orders daily.
Boosting customer spend by: Upselling, cross selling and promoting new product lines.
Liaising with internal departments ensure that tasks are completed where applicable.
Notifying customers of no stocks and providing alternatives as well as notifying customers of when stock will or has arrived.
Lead passing to field sales team.
Helping with client queries, complaints and concerns.
Data capturing when needed.
Additional projects / tasks to be finished as per the business needs.
Meet and exceed daily / weekly / monthly KPI’s set out by management.
Build new and maintain existing customer relations.
Assisting to improving the business and growing the reputation of the company at all times.
REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12
Relevant tertiary qualification Advantageous
Attention to detail
Should be able to work under pressure
Pastel experience Advantageous
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
FMCG Industry experience advantageous
Experience with order capturing software, advantageous (QuickBooks / Pastel / Other).
Taking initiative and following through
Recent experience as orders clerk or similar customer service role
