The Department of Basic Education has blazoned that operations for phase two of schoolteacher adjunct jobs are now open following the successful phase one which ended in April.
In a statement on Sunday( 26 September), the Department said operations for the Basic Education Employment Initiative( BEEI) will close on 3 October 2021.

BEEI is part of the Presidential Youth Employment Initiative. In phase two, BEEI seeks to give give,000 jobless youthful people employment and training openings in the education sector.

Of these, around,000 will be Education sidekicks and roughly,000 will be General School sidekicks. Successful aspirants will be placed in seminaries for five months from Novermber 2022.
“ Youth between the periods of 18 and 35, who are presently neither in education/ training, nor entering any form of government entitlement, as well as youthful people with disability and women, are eligible and encouraged to apply for this enriching experience, ” the Department said.
“ campaigners who are named for placement, will have an occasion to admit training on colorful chops that will equip them for unborn employment openings. ”

According to the Department of Basic Education, the following schoolteacher adjunct jobs are available
Education Assistant – Curriculum.
Education Adjunct – ICT/e-Cadres.
Education Assistant – Reading titleholders.
General School Assistant – Child & Youth Care Worker.
General School Assistant – Handyman( no matric needed).
General School Assistant – Sports and Enrichment Agent( no matric needed).
To qualify for Education Assistant openings, an aspirant must have passed matric English. Having an NQF position 4, 6 and 7 qualification instrument will be an added advantage.
To qualify as a General School Assistant for structure support( Handyperson) or Sports and Enrichment Agents, an aspirant doesn’t need to have a matric instrument. still, Trade instruments will be an added advantage.
“ To work in the education terrain, you must have a good capability to work with people and within groups, have good communication chops, be a good listener, and have interest in academics, ” the Department said.
How to apply
To apply for schoolteacher adjunct jobs, you need to register onsayouth.mobi, produce a profile and submit your operation there. All operations will be online and no walk- sways will be allowed in seminaries, according to the Department.
In a Twitter update on Monday( 27 September), the Department outlined the following criteria for aspirants
Aspirants mustn’t turn 36 before 31 March 2022.
Live within walking distance from academy.
Mustn’t be working, studying or training( indeed part- time).
Only one occasion can be taken up per ménage.
Mustn’t be entering a government entitlement( NSFAS, Funza Lushaka).
No felonious record.
aspirants who admit a notice that they’ve been shortlisted will be needed to give the following documents
Curriculum Vitae( CV).
witnesses( former academy, original chief, church leader, etc).
Police concurrence instruments.
Affidavit/ protestation by aspirant stating he she has no felonious record while awaiting the police concurrence.
Pukka qualifications similar as Matric,( where applicable NQF position 4 qualification instrument, for Education Assistant aspirants with NQF position 6 and 7 an added advantage).
