About the Position: The Mobility Department is seeking Traffic Students to participate in a twelve-month training program for a Further Education and Training Certificate in Road Traffic Law Enforcement.
The program will start on January 8, 2024, at Gene Louw College (GLTC), Brackenfell. After successful completion, candidates may have the chance for permanent employment in Provincial Traffic Centres.
Location: Various Traffic Centres including Beaufort West, Caledon, George, Knysna, and more.

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) with a pass mark of 50% or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics literacy, English, and an additional language.
- Valid manual motor vehicle license (code B).
- Age under 35 years.
- Medically and physically fit.
- No criminal record.
- Meet requirements for appointment as an Authorized Officer and Peace Officer.
- No visible tattoos on hands, arms, upper chest, neck, or face.
- Proficiency in the majority home language of the area.
- Fingerprint checks, interview, knowledge test, fitness, driving, and medical tests required.
Remuneration: A monthly training stipend of R 5,000.00.
