Role Overview: As a Packaging Inventory Clerk, you’ll be responsible for managing all Raw Material (RM) inventory within the logistics supply chain.
Your role will ensure product quality standards are met, and you’ll be instrumental in compliance with inventory governance processes and controls.
From accurate inventory counts to adherence to quality fundamentals, your attention to detail will drive our operations forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to RM Inventory quality fundamentals as per VPO requirements
- Accurately record RM Inventory in SAP with physical blocking mechanisms for quality-related & obsolescence stock
- Ensure compliance with freshness & rotation policy according to VPO standards
- Conduct independent inventory counts and resolve discrepancies
- Manage physical movements of RM Inventory in SAP accurately
- Monitor and control raw materials, handling, and storage
- Implement waste management practices and Good Housekeeping principles
- Liaise with internal and external customers, supporting team goals and VPO principles
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics, or relevant studies
- 2-3 years’ experience in Stock Control environment
- Proficiency in MS Office & SAP, and licensed FLT driver
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and good communication skills
- Ability to work in a pressurized cross-functional environment and manage tasks independently
