SITA has an opening for a Company Secretary based in Erasmuskloof, Pretoria. As the Company Secretary, you will play a vital role in ensuring good corporate governance, statutory compliance, and effective administration of the state-owned company.
Responsibilities:
- Support the effective functioning of the Executive Committee and the Board.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including Companies Act, PFMA, SITA Act, and King IV.
- Manage policies, resources, and compliance processes within the department.
- Provide leadership in managing the Board’s administrative matters, including induction and training.
Qualifications:
- Relevant law degree (LLB, Corporate Law, Commercial Law) or Registration as a Chartered Secretary (CIS).
- 10 years of experience in a Company Secretariat department, with 3 – 5 years as a company secretary in a public sector organization.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and contract management.
