Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Fluent in English (knowledge of additional languages is beneficial)
- Tenacious and highly motivated
- Previous retail experience is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers, addressing queries, and handling complaints.
- Perform cashier duties, including processing cash and card payments, Lay Bys, customer refunds, and till balancing.
- Responsible for merchandising, ensuring correct pricing and product displays, maintaining product availability, and staying updated with promotions.
- Manage risks by tagging products according to company policy, participating in stock takes, and reporting any suspicious activities to management.
- Uphold Ackermans values, policies, and procedures in all aspects of your work.
