Program Details:
- Location: Gauteng, Cape Town, and Nkangala District Municipality
- Duration: 2023 to 2024
- Benefits: Successful candidates will receive a competitive compensation package, including medical aid, pension fund, group life, and housing allowance, totaling R104,568 to R117,107 per annum. Additionally, a monthly stipend of R4,000 will be provided.
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 qualification (preferably with Mathematics and Physical Science)
- Age 18 years or older
- No fear of confined spaces or heights
- Good physical and mental fitness
- Ability to work in a team and handle stressful situations
- Clean criminal record
- Successful completion of specified courses: Firefighter 1, Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Operations, and First Aid Level 3

Application Process:
- Pass compulsory fitness tests, including a 2.4 km run and strength exercises.
- Successfully complete a written assessment and interview.
- Undergo a City medical evaluation and drug test.
Documents Required:
- Original National Senior Certificate (NSC: Schools) or National Certificate (NSC: FET Colleges)
- South African Identity Document (certified copy, not older than 6 months)
- Running shoes and PT clothing
- Water and refreshments for the day
