Location: Gauteng, Cape Town, and Nkangala District Municipality
Duration: 2023 to 2024
Benefits: Successful candidates will receive a competitive compensation package, including medical aid, pension fund, group life, and housing allowance, totaling R104,568 to R117,107 per annum. Additionally, a monthly stipend of R4,000 will be provided.
Minimum Grade 12 qualification (preferably with Mathematics and Physical Science)
Age 18 years or older
No fear of confined spaces or heights
Good physical and mental fitness
Ability to work in a team and handle stressful situations
Clean criminal record
Successful completion of specified courses: Firefighter 1, Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Operations, and First Aid Level 3
Pass compulsory fitness tests, including a 2.4 km run and strength exercises.
Successfully complete a written assessment and interview.
Undergo a City medical evaluation and drug test.
Original National Senior Certificate (NSC: Schools) or National Certificate (NSC: FET Colleges)
South African Identity Document (certified copy, not older than 6 months)
Running shoes and PT clothing
Water and refreshments for the day
