*Learnership Duration and Benefits:*

Most hospitality learnerships last between 12 to 24 months and offer selected candidates accommodation, a monthly stipend, and meals (if included). These benefits will be discussed with the selected candidate before awarding the learnership.

*Basic Requirements:*

– Applicants must not be employed or part of another learnership
– Must have a standard 10, diploma, or degree in the field of application (where applicable)
– Must be outgoing and presentable
– Applicant must have excellent communication skills
– Having some background in hospitality is an advantage but not a requirement

*Additional Information:*

– Candidates living with disabilities are encouraged to apply
– The Department of Tourism invites job seekers to participate in the Tourism and Hospitality spectators Programme for 24 months
– Prospective employees should only apply to establishments within their local areas
– Successful applicants will be expected to sign a 24-month contract with the service provider appointed by the Department of Tourism

*Minimum Demands:*

– Be a South African citizen (copy of Identity Document required when submitting CV)
– Be an unemployed youth between 18 and 35 years old (not older than 35 years)
– Must possess a matric certificate or other original qualifications (proof of qualifications required)
– Job seekers must have knowledge of English (writing, reading, and speaking)
