We are seeking a Supply Planner to join our Baking Operating Unit at RCL Foods. The successful candidate will manage the supply planning process, ensuring optimal customer service at minimal cost. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, demand planners, and distribution teams to ensure uninterrupted supply.

Requirements:

– Degree in Commercial or Supply Chain
– Supply Chain Diploma from SAPICS or APICS
– 3-5 years operational experience in production planning or related field

Responsibilities:

– Manage supply planning process
– Ensure accurate forecasting and planning
– Manage packaging and ingredients stock levels
– Develop Material Requirements Plan
– Manage MRP plan and expedite/postpone Purchase Orders as needed

Job Description:

We are seeking a Shift Warehouse Controller to join our Vector Logistics team in Ethekwini. The successful candidate will control inbound, outbound, and stock handling processes to maintain efficiency within the warehouse.

Requirements:

– Matric with relevant Tertiary Qualification (Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Warehousing, Operations, Supply Chain, etc.)
– At least 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment
– Valid Code EB driver’s license and Forklift driver’s license (advantageous)
– Cold storage experience (advantageous)

Responsibilities:

– Control operational deliverables and coordinate progress with direct line manager
– Approve and oversee execution of warehouse documentation
– Ensure products are received and stored timeously
– Provide direction to warehouse team and maintain team focus on business objectives
– Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within operational teams
– Conduct daily checks on facilities, storage areas, and equipment
– Ensure compliance to mechanical, electrical, safety, and hazard standards
– Monitor and optimize stock rotation practices
– Allocate picking slots to meet sale patterns
– Conduct daily SAP warehouse checks and action reported defaults
– Ensure compliance to relevant hygiene standards

– Activate internal material movement and prepare for stock take preparation

– Reconcile invoice details with requirements and resolve issues regarding damaged stock
– Schedule customer deliveries and verify orders
– Ensure warehouse is kept clean and report areas/issues in need of attention
– Ensure all stocks leaving the warehouse have proper documentation
– Verify temperature for entire warehouse and ensure frozen stock is kept at correct temperature

– 2-year diploma with Procurement qualification

– 1-3 years’ experience in a Procurement environment

Responsibilities:

– Source suppliers and negotiate pricing and delivery dates
– Follow up on problem invoices and resolve queries
– Place orders and ensure timely delivery

– Assist with contract administration and tender processes
