We are seeking a General Worker to join our team in the North West region. The successful candidate will work closely with team leaders and supervisors to ensure the smooth operation of our tailings dam and related infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
– Work collaboratively with team leaders and supervisors
– Conduct daily inspections of designated areas
– Plan and manage tailings material on site and at depositing areas
– Assist in problem-solving operational challenges and report deviations to supervisors
– Adhere to discipline procedures and safety rules and regulations
– Extend and connect pipelines, open and close valves as required
– Take responsibility for performance and maintain good housekeeping
Requirements:
– Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent
– Experience: 0-2 years in earth moving or a related environment
– Advantageous: Tailings dam operational background or experience in mining or a related industry for at least 2 years

– General Requirements:
– Understand relevant standard operating procedures
