Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Social Auxiliary Worker to join our team in Johannesburg. As a Social Auxiliary Worker, you will be responsible for providing psychosocial care and support services to children, adolescents, and young people living with HIV and their caregivers.
Your duties will include identifying and managing clients, facilitating support groups, conducting home visits, and referring clients to resources.
Requirements:
– Matric/Grade 12 certificate
– Social Auxiliary Work certificate recognized by HWSETA
– Enrolled in Social Work degree
– 2-5 years’ experience working with PLHIV
– Training in KidzAlive, I-ACT, and NAS an advantage
Skills:
– Good presentation and communication skills
– Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
– Proficiency with MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel
