– 6 years’ human resources management experience (3 years at supervisory/ middle management level)
Performance Manager (New Rolling Stock)
– Departmental Mission: Manage testing and commissioning assurance services
– Key Performance Areas:
– Manage testing and commissioning during train manufacture
– Monitor and report on in-service performance
– Liaise with manufacturers and PRASA representatives
– Manage personnel
– Requirements:
– National Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
– 5 years’ experience in a Rolling Stock fleet role
Quality Manager (New Rolling Stock)
– Departmental Mission: Manage quality assurance inspection services
– Key Performance Areas:
– Manage quality assurance inspections and re-inspections
– Determine unit priorities and allocate resources
– Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
– Serve as a point of escalation for disputes
– Report on quality assurance activities
– Requirements:
– Computer literacy
– Manufacture’s Quality Plan knowledge
– Project Management/ SCM/ Contract Management/ finance/ human capital management principles
– Good knowledge and understanding of a rolling stock environment
