Job Purpose:
Assist the Maitre D’ Hotel and Asst. Maitre D’Hotel in supervising Food and Beverage service activities, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to MSC Cruises policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
– Supervise Waiters, Asst. Waiters, and Buffet Staff
– Ensure assigned stations are ready on time and guests are welcomed by name
– Maintain guest satisfaction and replace waiters if necessary
– Maximize revenue for food and beverage products
– Oversee table settings, equipment use, and sanitation procedures (USPH)
– Monitor restaurant inventory and ensure staff familiarity with menu content and wine list
Requirements:
– Fluent English (oral and written)
– Additional European language (advantage)
– High School certificate or equivalent experience
– Experience in 4/5-star restaurant, hotel, or resort (strong advantage)
– Full knowledge of USPH standards
– Computer literacy
– Management, organization, and interpersonal skills
– Passion for hospitality and customer service
– Cruise industry experience (advantage)
– STCW95 certification (compulsory)
– Recognized medical certification (required)

Job Title: Paramedic

Job Purpose:
Provide emergency medical care to guests and crew, responding to calls, triaging, stabilizing, and transferring patients as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
– Respond to emergency calls promptly and effectively
– Perform first response, triage, stabilization, and transfer patients
– Operate within protocols, recognizing limits and initiating measures to augment response
– Provide evidence-based patient care, administer medication, and maintain records
– Focus on customer service, portraying a positive brand image
– Participate in teaching and training non-medical staff
– Carry the First Responder emergency bag and respond immediately to emergencies
– Participate in crew preventative health programs
Requirements:
– Paramedicine Diploma (ANT/ECT/ECP or similar preferred)
– 2 years post-registration experience in clinical practice
– Minimum C1 English
– Up-to-date continuing professional development portfolio
– Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
– Experience in scene management and pre-hospital coordination of care
