The Midvaal Municipality is seeking to hire a Call Centre Agent to join their team in Meyerton, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive call centre function, including receiving and dispatching calls, registering complaints, and providing feedback to customers.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Grade 12 certificate and a National Certificate (NQF Level 3) in Call Centre Support/Contact Centre and/or Business Process Support.
They must also be fully bi-lingual in Afrikaans/English and one local language (IsiZulu or Sesotho), and have excellent communication, telephone etiquette, and customer service skills.
The ideal candidate will be passionate, motivated, and friendly, with attention to detail, office management, and excellent administration skills.

They will also have knowledge of the Midvaal Local Municipality and municipal area, and 2 years of relevant experience in a call centre/customer service or similar pressurized environment.
The position is a shift position, with day shifts from 06:00 to 14:00 and afternoon shifts from 14:00 to 22:00. Applicants must be able to travel to and from Midvaal Local Municipality.
The salary for this position is a total package of R 135 947.00 p.a. (exclusive of any benefits), and is a fixed-term contract ending 30 September 2025.
