Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will perform a variety of data management tasks, including:
Capturing and updating client information on electronic databases such as CommCare and TIER.Net.
Filing and retrieving PrEP client folders efficiently.
Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of clinical records.
Assisting with routine data quality assessments (RDQAs) for HIV Testing Services (HTS), PrEP, and PPPREV programmes.
Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports for programme monitoring.
Updating laboratory results received from the National Health Laboratory Service (NHLS).
Supporting monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities through data verification and reporting.
Ensuring compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and organisational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Participating in quality improvement meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should possess:
Grade 12 (Matric).
A certificate in database management.
Experience in database maintenance and data capturing.
At least three years’ experience working with HIV, AIDS, and STI programme data.
Knowledge of TIER.Net and health information management systems.
Good communication skills in English and a local language.
A valid driver’s licence.
