Objective: Enhance the client experience by handling inquiries, teller transactions, client concerns, and banking needs. Identify cross-selling opportunities, manage risks, and contribute to branch objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Process withdrawals, deposits, and transfers
- Manage cash transactions in coordination with Senior Teller
- Perform daily reconciliation of cash accounts
- Safeguard daily cash and branch stock
- Facilitate inter-bank transfers by preparing transactional documents
- Understand client needs through attentive and courteous interactions
- Identify and suggest cross-selling opportunities to relevant departments
- Handle client account inquiries and maintenance
- Issue account statements and credit cards
- Encode and issue bank cards
- Maintain accurate daily stock balance
- Cultivate customer relationships for retention and expansion
- Prioritize client satisfaction and quality service
- Utilize effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications
- Maintain accuracy in tasks and procedures
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of the bank’s products
Qualifications:
- Essential: Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (NQF Level)
- Preferred: Grade 12 with 25 points (original certified) and Diploma in banking or related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 6-12 months bank teller and client service experience in the financial industry
- Availability to work on Saturdays
