Qualifications and Skills:
National diploma/degree in Public Relations, Communication Science, Media Science, Journalism studies, Marketing Management, or Multimedia studies.
Honours degree will be considered an advantage.
Assist in compiling and updating media contact lists.
Prepare media reports on assigned topics.
Aid in press release and media advisory writing, editing, and distribution.
Assist in scheduling and coordinating media interviews.
Assist in developing communication plans.
Coordinate strategic events.
Participate in and assist with communication efforts.
Create multimedia content such as images, infographics, and animations to support marketing and communication.
Contribute to social media content creation, scheduling, and engagement monitoring.
Update and manage content on intranet and internet sites.
Content Management & Language Services:
Write and edit content for readability, logic, grammar, and style.
Develop content to communicate Transnet initiatives internally and externally.
