Qualifications and Skills:
- National diploma/degree in Public Relations, Communication Science, Media Science, Journalism studies, Marketing Management, or Multimedia studies.
- Honours degree will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- External Communication:
- Assist in compiling and updating media contact lists.
- Prepare media reports on assigned topics.
- Aid in press release and media advisory writing, editing, and distribution.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating media interviews.
- Brand Management:
- Assist in developing communication plans.
- Coordinate strategic events.
- Participate in and assist with communication efforts.
- Multi-Media Management:
- Create multimedia content such as images, infographics, and animations to support marketing and communication.
- Contribute to social media content creation, scheduling, and engagement monitoring.
- Update and manage content on intranet and internet sites.
- Content Management & Language Services:
- Write and edit content for readability, logic, grammar, and style.
- Develop content to communicate Transnet initiatives internally and externally.
