Job Purpose: The primary goal of this role is to provide high-quality and accurate business administrative support services to both internal and external stakeholders. By doing so, you will contribute significantly to Nedbank’s ability to meet its business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Support: Act on stakeholder requests by accurately capturing and processing administration requests using the relevant system.
- Vendor Payments: Facilitate vendor invoice payments by capturing and processing data in the system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations, comparing supplier invoices and general ledger accounts with supporting documents and Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Sales Support: Contribute to revenue growth by assisting in driving submitted sales to completion.
- Cost Allocation: Compile a catalogue of services, allocating costs per product, and monitor the transfer pricing system to recover costs.
- Cost Optimization: Drive value for services rendered by using product MIS for vendor engagement meetings, focusing on cost reduction.
- Financial Monitoring: Analyze departmental financial performance by comparing actuals to budget variances.
- Budgeting: Assist in efficient budget compilation by applying statistical growth information to financial expenditure requirements.
- Risk Management: Minimize financial and reputational risk by ensuring the accuracy of processing activities.
- Operational Efficiency: Minimize operational costs by avoiding unnecessary expenditures.
- Reporting: Provide feedback to stakeholders through relevant reports and MIS, ensuring timely responses within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Process Oversight: Follow through on relevant tasks, monitor process flow, and verify completion.
- Data Verification: Verify and authenticate reports, data, and transactions by extracting, generating, and checking reports from the system.
- Compliance: Verify client information on systems in accordance with Nedbank policies and FICA rules.
- Documentation: Prepare trustee meeting packs and month-end packs for management and maintain and update administration files and legal documents.
- Anomaly Resolution: Escalate anomalies by emailing the Team Manager when cases or call records are not found or if there is a mismatch of accounts.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about legislation and industry changes affecting your role.
