Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 10 and National Certificates Level 2 Certificate (GET Services)
- Blasting Certificate
- 2-3 years of mining experience
- Medically fit to work in the specific business area
- Clear security screening record
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and supervise early morning examinations
- Prepare the face for daily blast
- Supervise the cycle of operation and adhere to blasting schedules
- Monitor daily advance measurements and initiate corrective actions
- Conduct legal and general administration duties
- Complete timesheets, order explosives, and update inventory list
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and maintain a safe work environment
- Focus on safe production, operational excellence, and people management
