1. General Manager: Grants Administration Location: Gauteng Regional Office

Responsibilities:
- Manage grant administration programs in the region.
- Implement national norms, standards, and policies.
- Coordinate regional service delivery and stakeholder collaborations.
- Oversee assessment processes and administer appeals.
- Manage customer care, call center operations, and public queries.
- Supervise contracts with external service providers.
- Ensure beneficiary records’ maintenance and system management.
- Provide leadership, implement policies, and manage resources and staff matters.
- Develop, implement, and maintain operational procedures.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) recognized by SAQA in the relevant field.
- Certificate for entry into the SMS (Senior Management Service).
- 5 years’ senior management experience in the relevant field.
- Knowledge of SASSA’s mandate, policies, legislation, and social security.

2. General Manager: Finance Location: Mpumalanga Regional Office
Responsibilities:
- Provide effective financial management services in the region.
- Oversee and control the Regional Office’s budget and financial accounting functions.
- Manage banking services, salary-related matters, and financial administration services.
- Analyze and compile financial statements, manage supply chain management services, and asset management functions.
- Provide leadership, implement policies, and manage resources and staff matters.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) with Financial Accounting as a major subject.
- Certificate for entry into the SMS (Senior Management Service).
- 5 years’ senior management experience in financial management disciplines.
- Extensive knowledge of accrual accounting, GRAP standards, SA-GAAP, IFRS, PFMA, and relevant regulations.
