As an Egg Picker/Gatherer, your responsibilities will include:
- Gathering and accurately counting eggs.
- Washing and sanitizing turkey production facilities in a safe and efficient manner.
- Adhering to company standards and regulations for biosecurity, animal welfare, and safety.
- Collaborating with team members and assisting in various tasks to get the job done.
- Using a variety of tools and equipment proficiently.
- Handling live animals with care.
- Organizing tasks and ensuring efficient operations.
- Performing duties while constantly moving, using hands, occasionally lifting heavy objects, and being exposed to various environmental conditions.
In addition to these tasks, you may also be required to:
- Work long hours if necessary.
- Clean and sanitize turkey production facilities and equipment.
- Utilize different tools and protocols for cleaning equipment and facilities.
- Repair or oversee the maintenance of equipment as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
- Adapt to schedule changes based on farm requirements, including working weekends.
- Occasionally work on different farms upon request.
- Demonstrate excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Strictly follow all company regulations related to biosecurity, animal welfare, and safety.
