Receptionist Positions Available at Netcare Primary Care Division

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accuracy in patient files and billing systems.
- Ensure a neat and organized reception area.
- Handle admission and discharge documentation.
- Address customer complaints, escalating unresolved issues.
- Manage banking/cash processes according to procedures.
- Perform pay-point duties, including cash and card transactions.
- Handle telephonic inquiries and accurately record messages.
- Book appointments based on patient preferences.
- Assist with patient documentation and admission processes.
- Verify and update patient files for accuracy.
- Communicate outstanding balances or levies to patients.
- Monitor and manage patient waiting times.
- Ensure correct billing for all visits, including Medical Aid patients.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 certificate, Higher certificate in Business Management or related.
- Work Experience: Previous experience in a hospital/clinic environment preferred, knowledge of Medical Schemes advantageous, computer literacy, SAP experience, and ME+ experience.
Knowledge:
- Thorough knowledge of general/primary care nursing theory and practice.
- Extensive knowledge of modern nursing care principles, especially in intensive care nursing.
