Are you a hardworking, self-disciplined individual with driving experience? Midvaal Local Municipality is offering an exciting opportunity for a Truck Driver to join their team.
Requirements:
- Grade 10 (Grade 12 is an added advantage)
- Driver’s License Code EC (14) with a valid Public Drivers Permit (PDP)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Skills in adaptability, problem-solving, and attention to detail
- Two (02) years of relevant driving experience within a Local Government Authority
Duties:
- Operate a truck, including loading and unloading materials/water to enhance service delivery
- Plan daily tasks based on instructions from the Foreman/Supervisor
- Perform administrative duties
- Manage vehicle equipment and ensure effective maintenance
- Assist in other tasks as needed to ensure efficient service delivery
- Perform Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested by management
Salary:
- R188,604.00 – R212,124.00 per annum (Level 10 of Grade 08 Local Authority)
- Total package inclusive of all benefits: R321,801.00 per annum
