The incumbent will assist in the administration of Social Grants at the Local Office Level, screen all grant applications effectively, capture applications in the system, provide customer care, process other grant documentation, and conduct quality control on grant applications. Ensuring adherence to Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act is also a key responsibility.

Appointments are subject to compulsory pre-employment screening, including qualification, reference, ITC, criminal checks, and compulsory competency assessment (where applicable). Applicants with foreign qualifications must have them evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) before the selection process.
